The Office of International Services (OIS) is the University’s immigration specialist, serving all campuses and the 6000 international students, scholars, staff, and faculty who call Pitt their academic home. Our chief job is to make sure that immigration issues are handled smoothly, quickly and correctly.

Another important function of OIS is to welcome you to campus! You will learn about the special orientation process for international students, scholars, staff, and faculty in My OIS, your online service center for accessing all OIS services and immigration needs.

When preparing for a job interview, it's not enough to only read advice - you need to put that advice into practice! That's why Big Interview isn't just a training course. You'll also get hands-on practice with mock interviews tailored to your specific industry, job and experience level. All Pitt users have access to this resource for free.

LinkedIn Learning offers on-demand content taught by credible experts in a variety of topics including videos for business, technology, creative skills, and more. All Pitt faculty, staff, students, and postdocs have free access to this resource.

Beyond the Professoriate's professional development e-learning platform is for graduate students and postdocs. Over 80 hours of on-demand videos are available, as well as a multitude of free webinars. Pitt users have free access to this platform and should log into AURORA to activate your account by selecting “Login to Platform” and “Through Your Institution".

Are you applying for a NIH grant? The NIH offers a four-part video tutorial series that walks you through the basics of preparing, writing, and submitting your application. These short videos will provide you with a basic overview of the process, as well as a variety of tips for success, and are available to view for free anytime.
