The Oral Communication Lab, located in the Department of Communication in the Cathedral of Learning, offers in-person and virtual public speaking coaching appointments for Pitt students, postdocs, faculty, and staff. You can get advice on research presentations, interviews, press conferences, and other types of speeches. Consultants can work with you at any stage of the process from analyzing audience needs to organizing presentations to practicing delivery skills and coping with speech anxiety.

The Writing Center, located in 317B O’Hara Student Center, offers in-person and virtual writing coaching appointments to Pitt students, postdocs, faculty, and staff. Writing consultants can work with you at any stage of the process—from beginning a writing project to the final read through before submission, and all points in between.
