SPRINGBOARD
SPRINGBOARD is a yearlong, required orientation program for new faculty investigators within the first year of their faculty appointment in the schools of the health sciences. SPRINGBOARD provides opportunities for faculty members to learn about each other’s research, about available research-related and other resources at Pitt and beyond, to gain knowledge about grant, personnel, and career management skills, and to meet key members of our research and administrative community. The experience embeds new faculty into the larger university community and leads to new and innovative collaborations, with the goal of providing them the resources and skills needed to hit the ground running.
The 2023-2024 SPRINGBOARD program is now under way. Participants and/or those with questions should contact springboard@pitt.edu. The next cohort will begin in the fall of 2024.
