Katherine P. Himes, MD, MS, is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. She completed her medical school training at Harvard Medical School and residency and fellowship at Magee-Womens Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Her research agenda is informed by her clinical practice as a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician. She is currently investigating effective strategies to support women and families in making high quality decisions in a variety of clinical settings, from periviable birth to postpartum health. In 2017, Dr. Himes became the program director for the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship.
