NRMN Faculty Mentor Training: Train-the-Trainer
In 2018, the University of Pittsburgh hosted the National Research Mentor Network’s (NRMN) 2-day Research Mentor and Facilitator Training Workshop. Over 30 faculty members from eleven schools were certified as NRMN Mentoring Workshop Facilitators demonstrating an institutional commitment to best practices in mentoring across campus. Over half of the participants were from the schools of the health sciences and beginning next fall, the Office of Academic Career Development will be coordinating half-day faculty mentor training for faculty in the health sciences.
