This session will provide faculty members an overview of best practices for recruiting, screening, interviewing, selecting, and mentoring postdoctoral trainees who are best able to contribute to their research program. Faculty participants will explore how successful postdoctoral relationships are shaped by clarity of expectations during the recruitment stage, realistic goal setting, accountability, and positive interactions during training.
